The vibe in Moonrise was so comfy and cozy, I wish I had time to hang out. I ordered a brown sugar oat milk latte and a bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. That sandwich was huge and so delicious. The coffee was not too sweet, but just sweet enough! The batista was also sooo friendly!
Lively, joyful vibe. But also some nice bright spots by window to read and people watch. Had cappuccino and veggie breakfast burrito, both excellent. Nice menu for carnivores and vegetarians. Small bakery, looks good, maybe next time.
What a cute little place. I was so impressed with the selection of drinks and food! I had a bacon bagel that was phenomenal! And of course, I had to take a pop tart home, which I quickly devoured. Wow! I'm so impressed by the food! They also do custom cakes! And obviously the coffee was excellent! Nice blend of sweet without being too sweet. Highly recommend!
Awesome food, great staff, quirky atmosphere - 10/10 experience every time I come here. Just attended a trivia night the other evening and it was SO fun and engaging. Fav one I’ve been to in town so far (questions weren’t too hard compared to others I’ve been to). I’ve gotten their chai, London fogs and lattes - loved all three. Highly recommend the food options, super quality! Maybe a tish pricey but still good. Breakfast burrito is 10/10. Lots of food options too.
Just a Chicago girl who had a layover in Fargo, ND, for the first time. It was Super Bowl Sunday, 4*, and I was looking for a cafe to just warm up & relax inside of. I don’t think I could’ve come across a better cafe than Moonrise. It was very lively, and the staff were all super friendly and welcoming. They have a wide selection of both food and drinks, perfect for anyone looking for a lil’ sweet treat, or pick-me-up drink. I had ordered their Café Miel (honey latte) with a turkey, salami, and pesto sandwich. Super fresh and delicious, I even got a little latte art! Definitely check it out for your early morning/afternoon coffee run!

One of the best cookies I’ve had in my life on this visit and had one of the best pieces of cake in my life during my last visit. Very cozy place too.
After several other cake-makers fell through, my husband and I were scrambling to find a cake for our wedding. In comes Heart Cakes! We loved the aesthetic of “naked cakes” and also a woodsy vibe, and they captured it perfectly! Not only was the exterior spot on, but the almond cake was divine and had just the right amount of frosting between. With just a week’s notice, their responses were prompt, thorough, and soo helpful! We are so grateful to have had Moonrise/Heart Cakes as part of our big day
